Some quick hits to go with your Monday morning Life Cereal:
1) The Mets actually won three games on the road. It was against Baltimore, but hey a sweep is a sweep. In fact it was a really impressive outing where the Mets had 18 hits, 11 runs and 4 homers (including 3 multi-run homers). The Mets now have won 4 in row and take the show (thats on the road already) to Cleveland.
2) Maine pitched a rehab game in AA yesterday. He threw 63 pitches over 4 innings while having a fastball around 88 mph.
3) Jeff Suppan will be going to the Cards, so we don't have to worry about that happening.
4) All 5 NL East Teams won yesterday. Yipee?
