Some quick hits to go with your Tuesday morning Banana Waffle:
1) The Mets had one draft pick last night, and as you probably know by now they picked Matt Harvey. And you can actually see more about him here.
2) I love the Minor Leagues.
3) The latest controversy to come out of Philly? It's not the struggling offense. It's not the short home run fence (ok yeah it still sorta is on an unrelated note, seriously the Werth homerun over the weekend, he thought it was a flyball out and it ended up outside of the ballpark). The newest controversey deals with a toddler drinking beer.
4) The only really surprising development in the draft last night was that Cox fell all the way down to 25 to the Cards. But then after thinking about it for a while, I was no longer that surprised, but still sorta surprised.
