Spring Training Game 34: Ugh…Pelfrey

The Mets won today by a score of 9-8 off the back of a terrible start by Pelfrey. The good thing about today is because of the day that it was. Today was the last day of Spring Games in Florida. The team is moving up to New York now to give Citi Field two test runs before the start of the season, and we are so close to beginning of the season! Anyway, not to many stats to look at for this today but here are the highlights from today's game:
The Good:
    Reyes 1-3, RBI, 3B
    Murphy 1-3, RBI
    Church 2-2, R
    Cora 2-3, R, RBI
    Castro 2-2, R, 3 RBI, HR
    Figueroa 1.0 IP, H, 2K
The Bad:
    Pelfrey 4.0 IP, 10 H, 8 ER, BB, 2K
    Schnieder 0-2
    Evans 0-2
I really hope Pelfrey will bounce back from this, and I know he will. On the plus side, Cora now has had a few good days, and this is the time to start hitting with the season right around the corner. Really not much to report today because tomorrow is where it is going to be at with all of the Citi Field stuff. Lets Go Mets! So close to the season!
