1) The National League finally won an All-Star game last night as they stopped a 14 year, 13 loss, 7 consecutive slide. David Wright started at 3B for the NL and had 2 hits in as many AB's, recorded a stolen base, and was intially confused with David Price, the starting pitcher for the American League.
2) The passing of another baseball icon yesterday as George Steinbrenner passed away yesterday morning. Our thoughts and prayers here go out to his family during this time.
3) The Orioles may finally have a manager as it looks like they will reach terms with Buck Showalter. Also, it looks like the Braves may pursue David Ortiz.
