Mets Breakfast

Some quick hits to go with your Wednesday morning Corn Flakes:

1) Pelfrey gave teh Mets just what they needed last night as he pitched 8 innings allowing only one run. The game was controlled on the offense side by Wright and Davis (who both homered) and saved, creatively, by Krod, who of course made it interesting before finishing it out.

2) The Phillies have now lost 10 of their last 14 as things get interesting in the NL East standings.

3) It just occurred to me that Wagner has pitched for 60% of the teams in the NL East.

4) The Willis Reconstruction project will not be taking place in Queens as he has been traded to the Diamonbacks for Billy Buckner. If that trade could happen, maybe there is hope for moving Perez (although I'm not getting my hopes up).
