Mets Breakfast: Changes?

Some quick hits to go with your Saturday Morning scrambled eggs:

1) Changes are coming. Thats not a rumor or a fact, its just my speculation. At this point you have to feel that the things are wrong with the Mets can actually be pointed at. For example the lineup is not producing and Oliver Perez is a mess. If I had to guess, I feel that a lineup shake up will occur soon and Perez will be moved somehwere else on the team.

2) The most likely scenario at this point is the Mets are waiting for Iggy to get back. Once Iggy is back, Perez can be moved to the pen and Takahashi can be moved to the rotation. There was talk here, on this blog, in spring, about Takahashi in the rotation and he has proven not only effective, but that he can pitch a while and see the same batters twice in a ball game (but what about three times? That of course is the next question).

3) Perez is just bad at this point. Its not his stuff, its not his jeckly and hyde spirit, its just that he is a emotional waterfall on us fans, ugh. His next start in the rotation is next Weds in Washington. I'll actually be at that game, and also really hoping I don't have to see Perez.

4) Speaking of Perez, guess who didn't have to see him last night? Thats right, this guy (me). I'm so lucky that attend a university where finals are given on Saturdays! So I was studying this, and this, and this, and little of this.
