Mets Breakfast: Walk Off Edition

Some quick hits to go with your Saturday morning Texas Toast:

1) The Mets won the game on a walk off homer from Rod Barajas last night. Barajas, who was just supposed to be a defensive catcher after the Mets “lost out” on Bengi Molina has been on fire in the last week or so as he now had 9 homers on the season, compared to 12 all catches combined had on the team last year.

2) Additional note, that was Barajas' second big blast of the night.

3) Davis hit two bombs last night to get his season total to 3. Its hard not to be get high hopes for Ike.

4) The old Mets would have crumbled after blowing the save in the top of the ninth, but not these Mets.

5) Side Note: I woke this morning to more news about Jamie Moyer being old. In other words, today is going to be completely normal.
