The Wall Street Journal Seperates the Yankee Fans from the Mets Fans

Great article today in Wall Street as a team of, well I'm not sure what title they hold, found statistical differences between Mets fans and Yankee fans. According their research, which as you have to remember with statistics, it shows correlation not causation, says that Mets fans are more likely to follow their teams more closely. This statement was based off of that Mets fans on average bet more on sports and listen to a substantial amount of talk radio.

The point the article drives home though is that Mets fans are more likely to drink beer than Yankees fans. I thought that was an interesting poing, and I am also wondering if any Yankee blogs out there that also read this article are going to say “Haha, thats because their team collapses!”

The Wall Street Journal offers a 13 question set to see if you are Yankee Fan or a Mets fan. I took and guess what, apparently I am a Yankee fan….why?

1) I am a worrier. Oops, thats in my genes.
2) I don't own a dog.
3) I'm not married (hellooooo ladies).
4) I don't bet on Sports.

Factors that make me a Mets fan:

1) I don't own a Mac
2) I drink beer.
3) I listen to Sports Radio
4) I'm messy.

Obvisously I am not a Yankee fan, but this was still an interesting article to read.
