Some quick hits to go with your Thursday morning hangover*:
1) The Mets dropped another road series yesterday losing in extras for the second time in three games making a 2-4 road trip. Once again though, at least for the last three games, these Mets showed fight. I know that showing fight isn't always shown in the standings, but showing fight eventually leads to wins. It lead the Mets to an 8 game stretch before, and hopefully it will again soon.
2) After yesterday's slate of games were finished, baseball had its first 20 game winner (Rays) and 21 game loser (Orioles). Top to bottom, that division (AL East) is now separated by 13.5 games).
3) Kevin Millar is returning the American Association of Baseball. He signed a contract to return to the St. Paul Saints.
4) The Mets have an off day today.
* Happy Day After Cinco De Mayo.
