Game Preview: Phillies @ Mets

The Mets dropped another game to the Phillies last night as the offense couldn’t help out Matt Harvey’s great outing. Tonight Jeremy Hefner will get the start for the Mets as he is 2-6 over 79.1 innings with a 4.99 ERA. His last start wasn’t that great as he allowed 5 ER in 2.2 innings of work. Overall this year he has allowed 6 ER over 7.1 innings against the Phillies who have the following numbers against him:

His major league debut was against the Mets as he allowed 7 hits and 3 earned runs in 6 innings of work on his way to a loss. In his last two starts he has allowed 4 ER in 4 innings and 3 ER in 3 innings. The Mets have the following numbers against him:
