The Mets try to bounce back form last night's loss tonight against the San Francisco Giants. Metsmerized Online put this game into perspective earlier this week when they said the Mets would be facing the this year's version of R.A. Dickey in Vogelsong, and it is just a nice coincidence in the baseball world that R.A. Dickey would be the pitcher for the Mets. Dickey is 4-7 this season with a 3.68 ERA. In his last three starts he has pitched 20.0 innings with a 2.25 ERA. He made a pretty terrible start against the Giants earlier this season where he last 6 innings allowing 6 ER. The Mets will have to deal with Vogelsong who is having av very strong year. He is 6-1 on the season with a 2.13 ERA. He has been more human in his last two starts where he has pitched 11.2 innings with a 3.86 ERA.
