This past week we saw one of the greatest moments in New York Mets – Johan Santana history as Santana was about nearing a complete game, 3 hit shutout and then with two runners on and one out in the ninth Jerry went out to speak with him. Santana wanted to finish it and Jerry went back to the dugout. Basically two pitches later the game was over and the Mets were winners. Jerry's words on the situation:
