Some quick hits to go with your Tuesday morning Apple Jacks:
1) I didn't really watch the Legends/Celebrity game. But I did watch the top half of the first inning where Gary Carter (in a Mets hat) got a hit when the firstbasemen was pulled off the bag, and then Piazza followed that up with a hit (apparently later a great defensive play at first base). I did hear Ricky Henderson hit two jacks and MC Hammer had one too.
2) David Ortiz won the Home Run Derby contest, but really nothing too exciting happened during the Derby, but it was still fun to watch.
3) Reports are now surfacing that the Mets were never really serious about acquiring Lee. Oh well.
4) David Wright will bat 5th tonight in the All-Star game.
