Over at Fan Huddle, I just wrote an article about how the Mets might be signing Mike Jacobs, and how that could be an intriguing situation.
Mainly I focus on it being a low risk situation. I do stress though that statistics show that Jacobs cannot platoon with Murphy, since they both hit RHP's about 40 points higher than LHP's. (Also, Murphy just hits 20 points higher in both categories), but Jacobs does have the power numbers.
