Its a new month and its time again to highlight another set of promotions across the league. One of my personal favorites already passed and it took place yesterday in Seattle. The Mariners gave out replica hats of the 1939 Seattle Mariners (a Pacific League Team). To top it off, they played in their Rainer uniforms and Oakland (the opponent) got in the action as well as they wore the old Oakland Oak uniforms. Really good work with this. The Mariners seem to have a very good PR department because this was a turn back the clock night done pretty much perfectly right.
Next on the list is the Angels with their title for their Friday Night Fireworks. They have titled all of them Big Bang Friday. Now this probably doesn't mean anything to most of you out there, but I am an Astronomy/Physics Major, so whenever I see something like this, I can't help but to be happy about it.
This next one might be tough for some of you out there. If you are a Brooklyn Dodgers fan, then just skip this paragraph. The Dodgers are giving out radios KABC and the 50th for something. The radios look really old fashion, which could give people some people some pretty back flashbacks to when the Dodgers moved away.
The Marlins have one night when they are they doing five things this month, and one just makes no sense to me. Lawyer Appreciation night. Really?
The Royals are giving away a replica Monarchs jersey this month for one of the games, it looks really nice and is a very good tribute.
The Twins are repeating a great promotion from last year but it looks different. They are giving away a Justin Morneau fishing lures. Last year they were wearing his Jersey, this year they look like glove leather.
