We all know that the Mets Pen struggled against the Pirates, but was it because the Mets or was it because of the Pirates? We all assume the Mets, and for purposes of winning, its best to assume the Mets so we don’t make excuses, but we are not the only NL East team to have recent struggles agaisnt the Pirates in the late innings. The Phillies ERA vs the Pirates was a lot worse than the Mets (8.10), and had more earned runs. I’m not complaining when the Phillies do bad.
