Today at the Ballpark

Today I finally made it to a Mets game this season. I ventured down I-95 to get to RFK to see the Mets take on the Nationals, and what a game it was. You can check the boxscores for the numbers, you probably already have, I am more concerned here about my day at the ball park (which was amazing!)

There is very little tail gating at Camden Yards, so it was fun to see all the Mets fans in the lot around RFK.

Walking into the stadium, there were a ton of Mets fans around the dugout, so I went to see what was going on. Tom Glavine was autographing. He is a real class act because he did it for a while, and I got his autograph last year at RFK because he was signing.

The section I was in was nuts. It was 303 (for those at the game) and it was amazing. Some of the most energetic fans were there, like this one guy who kept leading “Jose Jose Jose Jose” and “Lets Go Mets”. We got  booed a lot, but thats because we chanted a lot.

And when we got our tickets for the game, we were behind the Cow-Bell Man, who was also buying his tickets.
