Game Preview: Reds vs Mets

There was no slowing down the Mets last night while they took the opener of the series against the Reds! Now the Mets try to take the series tonight behind Carlos Carrasco as he takes on Mike Minor.

Starling Marte got the party started early last night with a two run homer in the first inning and the Mets never looked back. Chris Bassitt threw eight innings of one run ball, giving the bullpen some much needed rest and Adam Ottavino pitched a scoreless ninth inning to give Díaz a breather.

Carlos Carrasco has thrown 117 2/3 innings over 21 starts this season posting a 3.82 ERA, 3.44 FIP, 1.283 WHIP and a 104 ERA+. Before his last start, he had three consecutive starts where he allowed no runs (18 2/3 innings) from 15 hits and six walks while striking out 14 batters. His last time out he kept a very good Braves lineup to only three runs from four hits and a walk in a game the Mets won 6-4. The Reds have the following career numbers against Carrasco:

  • Mike Moustakas 3-25, 2B, 4 BB, 7 K
  • Joey Votto 6-16, 2 2B, HR, 4 BB, 4 K
  • Austin Romine 2-10, 2B, 4 K
  • Kyle Farmer 0-4, K
  • Matt Reynolds 0-3, 2 K
  • Jonathan India 1-1, HR, BB
  • Nick Senzel 0-2, K

It’s worth noting that both Moustakas and India left yesterday’s game with leg injuries. The general vibe, at least this morning, was that both were precautionary moves.

The Mets bats will get a look at Mike Minor tonight. Over 56 2/3 innings in 11 starts, Minor has a 6.19 ERA, 6.57 FIP, 1.571 WHIP and a 74 ERA+. In his last two starts he has allowed five runs over 10 2/3 innings from nine hits and six walks while striking out two (4.22 ERA, 5.36 FIP). Homeruns are crushing Minor this year. He’s already given up 16. For comparison he gave up 26 over 158 2/3 innings last year. Thus his homerun rate per nine innings is at a career worst 2.5, way about his career average at 1.3. The Mets have the following career numbers against him:

  • Darin Ruf 5-14, HR, 4 BB, 4 K
  • Mark Canha 6-18, 2B, 3 HR, 3 K
  • Francisco Lindor 1-11, 2 K
  • Daniel Vogelbach 2-7, 2 HR, BB, 2 K
  • Eduardo Escobar 1-6, 2B, 2 K
  • James McCann 1-5, 2B, 2 K
  • Starling Marte 0-3, K
  • Tyler Naquin 0-2

Game Preview: Reds vs Mets

The Mets had the weekend they needed taking four of five games from the Braves thus increasing their division lead to 6.5 games. Now the Mets pivot their attention from the Braves to the Reds before a series with the Phillies.

Similar to a week or so ago when the Mets went from playing Subway Series games to playing in Miami, there’s the potential for a shift in the energy in the stadium tonight. It’s natural, the Mets are coming off of the biggest series of the year to the Reds.

Chris Bassitt will look to keep the energy high and the good times rolling as he makes his 21st start of the season. Over 122 innings this season he has a 3.61 ERA, 3.71 FIP, 1.123 WHIP and a 110 ERA+. He’s coming off of one his best starts of the season where he shutout the Nationals for seven innings, scattering six hits and a walk. The Reds have the following career numbers against him:

  • Mike Moustakas 3-12, 2B, HR, K
  • Jake Fraley 0-4, 3 K
  • Nick Senzel 0-4, 2 K
  • Kyle Farmer 0-3, 2 K
  • Donovan Solano 0-3, 2 K

Justin Dunn makes a homecoming of sorts today when he starts against the Mets at Citi Field. Dunn was drafted by the Mets in 2016 and was a highly touted prospect in the Mets system (who battled through a slew of injuries). He was a critical piece of the trade sent Edwin Díaz and Robinson Canó to the Mets before the 2019 season (the big prospect in that trade being Jarred Kelenic). Dunn was traded again before the start of this season in a package of minor league players for Eugenio Suárez and Mets-fan favorite Jesse Winker.

Dunn has been working his way back through an injury again this season and joins a Reds rotation that just traded away Luis Castillo and just suffered an injury to Hunter Greene. Over his eight minor league rehab starts this season, he has pitched 28 innings with a 6.75 ERA. Last season in the majors he made 11 starts and pitched 50 1/3 innings with a 3.75 ERA, 4.74 FIP, 1.311 WHIP and a 111 ERA+. The only player on the Mets roster who has seen Dunn in a major league game is Mark Canha, who is 0-2 against Dunn with a walk.

Game Preview: Braves vs Mets

What a difference a day makes! Yesterday completely washed away Friday night as the Mets swept a split doubleheader against the Braves. The Braves are now 5.5 games back and now the Mets have an opportunity to start crushing the moral and momentum of the Braves by taking today’s game, which would mean taking four of five games this weekend.

It’s also deGrom day! Happy deGrom day! Jacob will make his second start of the season today. Earlier in the week he made his 2022 debut where he held the Nationals to one run from three hits over five innings while striking out six. Unfortunately, the Mets bats also remembered it was deGrom day and gave him the classic deGrom treatment of not scoring. The bullpen behind deGrom also blew up.

Jacob made two starts against the Braves last season allowing three runs from six hits and two walks over 12 innings (2.25 ERA, 0.667 WHIP) while striking out 20 batters. The Braves have the following career numbers against deGrom:

  • Marcell Ozuna 10-41, 2 2B, HR, BB, 15 K
  • Ronald Acuna Jr. 8-27, 2B, 2 BB, 9 K
  • Dansby Swanson 4-25, 2 2B, 3 BB, 13 K
  • Austin Riley 3-12, 2 HR, 5 K
  • Orlando Arcia 2-6, BB, 2 K
  • Ehire Adrianza 1-4, 3B, 3 K
  • Eddie Rosario 1-2, HR

The Mets draw Spencer Strider in the series finale. Spencer has pitched in 23 games and 12 starts this season pitching a total of 87 innings. He has a 2.79 ERA, 1.97 FIP, 0.989 WHIP and a 151 ERA+. As a starter only he has pitched 62 2/3 innings with a 3.02 ERA and 0.973 WHIP. Since June 26th he has made seven starts totaling 39 1/3 innings allowing nine runs, a 2.06 ERA. However five of those nine runs came in one start against the Nationals, so he’s been even better than his numbers suggest over that stretch.

This includes a start against the Mets where he allowed one run over 4 2/3 innings from five hits and three walks. After a series like the Mets and Braves, it is important for the Mets today to do the same thing to Spencer as they did last time. Make him work early and often and get him out of the game quickly to Atlanta’s overtaxed bullpen. The Mets have the following career numbers against Spencer:

  • Francisco Lindor 2-5, 3B, K
  • Brandon Nimmo 1-4, HR, BB
  • Pete Alonso 0-2, 2 BB, 2 K
  • Mark Canha 1-3, 2 K
  • Daniel Vogelbach 0-3, 2 K
  • Eduardo Escobar 1-1, 2B, BB
  • Jeff McNeil 0-1

Game Preview: Braves vs Mets, Game 2

The night cap in tonight’s doubleheader is a marquee matchup. A battle of the Max’s. Scherzer vs Fried. It’s actually the first of two straight games boasting a pitching duel between two starters as tomorrow deGrom takes on Spencer Strider. The baseball universe for the next 24 hours or so will be centered at Citi Field.

Max Scherzer over 14 starts and 88 2/3 innings has a 2.13 ERA, 2.64 FIP, 0.925 WHIP and a 188 ERA+. He’s coming off an average (for anyone else) start in DC where he allowed three runs, two earned, over 6 2/3 innings. Since returning from the injured list, Scherzer has a 1.62 ERA and 2.24 FIP over six games and 39 innings of work. This includes a start against the Braves in Atlanta where he held the Braves to one run from three hits over seven innings while striking out nine. The Braves have the following numbers against Scherzer:

  • Marcell Ozuna 12-44, 6 2B, 2 HR, 4 BB, 13 K
  • Dansby Swanson 7-41, 3 2B, HR, 2 BB, 16 K
  • Travis d’Arnaud 5-28, 2B, 3B, 2 HR, 11 K
  • Ozzie Albies 4-25, HR, 3 BB, 10 K
  • Ronald Acuna Jr. 7-23, 2B, 3B, 2 HR, BB, 7 K
  • Austin Riley 2-10, HR, 4 K
  • Adam Duvall 1-9, HR, 6 K
  • Robbie Grossman 1-4, 2 BB, 2 K
  • Eddie Rosario 1-5, K
  • Ehire Adrianza 1-3
  • Matt Olson 0-3, 3 K
  • Orlando Arcia 2-3, 2B
  • Michael Harris 0-2

The Mets bats will get another look at Max Fried. Fried has made 21 starts logging 132 1/3 innings this season. He has a 2.58 ERA, 2.47 FIP, 1.073 WHIP and a 162 ERA+. His success this year comes from league leading HR/9 rate at 0.4, which is half of his career mark at 0.8. Interestingly, he also leads the league with seven wild pitches, which already matches his total from last season.

Fried is coming off of a strong start against the Diamondbacks where he held them to no runs and four hits over seven innings of work. Before that he allowed eight runs over 18 innings (4.00 ERA, 2.22 FIP) from 21 hits and five walks. This includes a start against the Mets where he allowed two runs over five innings. The Mets have the following numbers against Fried:

  • Pete Alonso 5-24, 2B, 2 HR, 5 BB, 10 K
  • Jeff McNeil 8-22, 3 2B, 5 K
  • Brandon Nimmo 3-15, 2 2B, 4 BB, 6 K
  • Francisco Lindor 2-15, HR, 4 K
  • Eduardo Escobar 3-11, 3 K
  • Starling Marte 4-11, 2 2B, 2 K
  • James McCann 0-7, 2 BB
  • Darin Ruf 1-8, BB, 2 K
  • Luis Guillorme 3-6, 2 2B, BB
  • Mark Canha 2-5, HR, 2 BB, K
  • Daniel Vogelbach 0-3, K
  • Tyler Naquin 0-3, 2 K

Game Preview: Braves vs Mets, Game 1

Last night was rough – the Braves took an early 8-0 lead and never looked back. For the Mets, the game felt unlucky. Walker had a bizarre injury that seemed to impact his performance, the Braves robbed the Mets of an early two run homer, there were base running mistakes, etc. The Mets were able to claw back a lot in the game and make the final score 9-6.

Today is an important day for the Mets, they really need to split the doubleheader (at least). David Peterson will get the first attempt of making that a reality. Peterson has pitched in 17 games and 73 2/3 innings this year with a 3.54 ERA, 4.04 FIP, 1.290 WHIP and a 113 ERA+. Peterson has been more effective as a starter than as a reliever this year (albeit, a small sample size as a reliever). Over 13 starts (65 2/3 innings) he has a 3.43 ERA and 1.234 WHIP. Over four relief outings (8 innings) he has a 4.50 ERA and a 1.750 WHIP. This is skewed a bit in his outing where he allowed a two run homer and recorded only one out.

In his one start against the Braves this year he allowed four runs, three earned, from four hits and three walks over five innings of work. The Braves have the following career numbers against him:

  • Ronald Acuna Jr. 1-9, HR, 5 BB, 4 K
  • Dansby Swanson 3-12, 2B, 2 BB, 5 K
  • Marcell Ozuna 0-12, BB, 6 K
  • Austin Riley 6-12, 3 2B, BB, 3 K
  • Travis d’Arnaud 0-10, BB, 5 K
  • Ozzie Albies 2-10
  • Adam Duvall 4-8, 2 2B, HR, BB, 3 K
  • Matt Olson 2-5, 2 HR, BB, K
  • Orlando Arcia 0-2, K
  • Michael Harris 0-2, K

The Braves will send out one of their trade deadline acquisitions, Jake Odorizzi, this afternoon. The Braves received Jake from the Astros for Will Smith. Over 12 starts and 60 innings this year, Jake has a 3.75 ERA, 3.61 FIP, 1.1150 WHIP and a 102 ERA+. After two less than stellar starts in mid-July (10 1/3 innings, nine earned runs), Jake bounced back in his last start holding the Mariners to two hits and no runs over seven innings. The Mets have the following career numbers against him:

  • Francisco Lindor 9-25, 4 2B, 2 HR, 2 BB, 5 K
  • Mark Canha 3-13, 2B, K
  • James McCann 1-11, 4 K
  • Eduardo Escobar 1-9, K
  • Starling Marte 3-9, 3B, BB, K
  • Tyler Naquin 2-10, 5 K
  • Pete Alonso 0-2
  • Jeff McNeil 1-2
  • Brandon Nimmo 0-2, 2 K

Game Preview: Mets vs Braves

The only way for the Braves to retake first place this series was to win all five games – and that’s now impossible!

The Mets took the opener last night 6-4 thanks to muscle and Edwin Díaz. Pete Alonso and Vogelbach went back to back while Naquin had his best game as a Met hitting two homers. Díaz recorded a six out save to shut the door! We are fairly confident this means Díaz will be unavailable tonight, but it should mean that he’s good to go for one of the two games on Saturday.

The Mets have a real opportunity to push Atlanta back a bit in the standings taking last night’s success through the weekend. Taijuan Walker will look to do just that tonight on the mound. Over 18 starts and 103 1/3 innings, Walker has a 2.79 ERA, 3.35 FIP, 1.132 WHIP and a 143 ERA+. In his last two starts he has allowed six runs over 11 2/3 innings (4.63 ERA) from 14 hits and three walks.

Tonight will be Walker’s first start against the Braves this season. Last year he made three starts totaling 13 innings with a 3.46 ERA. The Braves have the following career numbers against him:

  • Robbie Grossman 5-13, 2B, HR, BB, 2 K
  • Marcell Ozuna 1-5, 2B, 2 BB, K
  • Ozzie Albies 1-4, 2 BB, 2 K
  • Austin Riley 3-6, HR, K
  • Dansby Swanson 0-6, K
  • Adam Duvall 0-5
  • Matt Olson 0-5, BB, K
  • Ronald Acuna Jr. 1-4, 2 K
  • Eddie Rosario 0-3, K
  • Ehire Adrianza 0-2, 2 K

The Mets bats look to keep their offense alive against Ian Anderson tonight. Over 20 starts and 101 innings, Anderson has a 4.99 ERA, 4.23 FIP, 1.505 WHIP and an 85 ERA+. He also leads the league in walks at 49 – a stat that is hopefully not lost on a Mets team that knows how to work a count. There were four starts in July where Anderson was great. Over those four starts he allowed four runs over 21 2/3 innings. This includes his last start where he allowed no runs and only a hit over six innings against the Cardinals. However, on July 24th, Anderson allowed seven runs from eight hits in three innings against the Angels. The vast majority of Anderson’s games this year fall into two categories. They were either great or terrible – very few in between games.

Anderson’s one start against the Mets this year was one of his better starts. He held the Mets to only one run over 5 1/3 innings despite allowing five hits and walking four batters. The Mets have the following numbers against him:

  • Starling Marte 2-10, 3 BB, 2 K
  • Francisco Lindor 1-9, 2 BB, K
  • Pete Alonso 2-10, 2B, K
  • James McCann 5-9, 2B, HR, BB, K
  • Jeff McNeil 0-9, 2 K
  • Brandon Nimmo 0-3, 3 BB, 2 K
  • Darin Ruf 1-4, 2 BB, K
  • Tyler Naquin 1-4, 2B, BB, K
  • Eduardo Escobar 1-2, 2B, BB
  • Daniel Vogelbach 1-3, K

Game Preview: Braves vs Mets

The most important series of the season is here! The Mets and the Braves will match up for five games this weekend. Both teams will actually play nine games over their next 15. These two series together will have a huge say in which team gets the division title at the end of the season.

The Mets rebounded after a disappointing Tuesday with an onslaught of runs on Wednesday afternoon. Pete Alonso and new Pete Alonso (Vogelbach) both homered in the 9-5 win. The Braves also lost yesterday, giving the Mets a 3.5 game cushion going into this weekend’s series.

Carlos Carrasco has made 20 starts and pitched 111 2/3 innings with a 3.79 ERA, 3.43 FIP, 1.307 WHIP and a 105 ERA+. In his last three starts, Carrasco has allowed no runs over 18 2/3 innings, scattering 15 hits and six walks while striking out 14 batters (2.58 FIP). Overall in July, Carrasco made five starts, tossing 30 innings, with a 0.90 ERA and 2.65 FIP.

One of Carrasco’s best starts this season came against the Braves. Carlos pitched eight shutout innings on May 3rd where he struck out five batters. The Braves have the following numbers against Carrasco:

  • Eddie Rosario 12-34, 2 2B, 2 HR, 5 BB, 9 K
  • Robbie Grossman 5-15, 2 2B, 4 BB, 3 K
  • Ehire Adrianza 2-13, 4 K
  • Matt Olson 5-8, 2 2B, 2 HR, BB
  • Dansby Swanson 0-6, 2 K
  • Travis d’Arnaud 1-5, 2 K
  • William Contreras 2-5, HR, K
  • Austin Riley 0-4, 2 K
  • Ronald Acuna Jr. 1-3, 2B, BB
  • Ozzie Albies 1-3

The Mets bats draw Kyle Wright for the series opener. Over 20 games and 122 2/3 innings, Wright has posted a 2.93 ERA, 3.38 FIP, 1.149 WHIP and a 144 ERA+. Kyle has pitched 19 2/3 innings over his last three starts, allowing six runs (exactly two in each start) while scattering 19 hits and three walks (2.75 ERA, 3.83 FIP). Wright has allowed 11 homers this season, and five of those homers have happened over his last four starts.

Wright pitched seven innings against the Mets back on May third. He held the Mets to the three runs from nine hits and a walk. The Mets have the following career numbers against Wright:

  • Jeff McNeil 7-12, 2 2B
  • Brandon Nimmo 3-10, HR, BB, 2 K
  • Pete Alonso 2-8, HR, BB, 2 K
  • Francisco Lindor 1-5, HR, BB, K
  • Mark Canha 1-3
  • Starling Marte 0-3, K
  • Tyler Naquin 1-3
  • Darin Ruf 2-3
  • Daniel Vogelbach 0-2, BB
  • Luis Guillorme 1-1, 2B

Game Preview: Mets @ Nationals

Yesterday was vintage deGrom, right down to the Mets offense. Jacob deGrom made his long awaited 2022 debut yesterday and looked great over five innings of work. The Mets bats, who were just overloading teams the last couple of days, racking up the hits, only mustered one run. So the Mets seven game winning streak was snapped and this afternoon they’ll try to start another winning streak while taking the series from the Nationals.

Chris Bassitt takes the mound for the Mets today. Over 19 games and 115 innings, he has a 3.83 ERA, 3.79 FIP, 1.130 WHIP and a 104 ERA+. His last start was his first rough one in a while, where he allowed four runs from six hits and four walks over six innings against the Marlins. Its worth noting that three of those runs came in the first inning and the fourth run came in the second. After that he settled in for the rest of his outing.

The last time he faced the Nationals was his first start of the season where he held the Nationals to three hits and no runs over six innings. The Nationals have the following numbers against Bassitt:

  • Nelson Cruz 4-14, 3 2B, 2 BB, 3 K
  • Alcides Escobar 4-13, 2B, 2 BB, K
  • Maikel Franco 1-5, 2 K
  • Luke Voit 2-5, 3 K
  • Cesar Hernandez 1-5, K
  • Riley Adams 0-2, K
  • Victor Robles 0-2, K

The Mets bats will get a look at a familiar face – Anibal Sanchez. Over three starts and 15 2/3 innings, Sanchez has a 7.47 ERA, 6.75 FIP, 1.660 WHIP and a 53 ERA+. His last start was his roughest one yet where he allowed six runs from six hits and two walks over 5 2/3 innings against the Cardinals. Sanchez didn’t play in 2021 and in 2020 he faced the Mets twice, allowing eight runs from 10 hits over eight innings. The Mets have the following numbers against him:

  • Eduardo Escobar 3-26, 2B, BB, 7 K
  • Starling Marte 4-17, HR, 4 K
  • Francisco Lindor 4-14, 2B, HR, BB, K
  • Jeff McNeil 1-11, 2B, BB, K
  • Brandon Nimmo 2-8, HR, 3 BB, K
  • Pete Alonso 5-9, 2B, 2 HR, BB
  • Tyler Naquin 1-8, 2B, 4 K
  • Mark Canha 1-5, BB, 2 K

Game Preview: Mets @ Nationals

I find the immediate moments after the trade deadline to be a bit of a let down, even in years when the Mets have a wild deadline. There’s something about the anticipation of a trade that seemed impossible until it happened. After the deadline – all of that stops.

There’s no let down this year after the deadline for Mets fans. We get to go from one of the most exciting days of the year into one of the most anticipated evenings of the year – Jacob deGrom’s 2022 debut! The ace of the Mets staff returns tonight after he was shutdown in spring due to a stress reaction. He returns to a first place Mets team that is currently on a season best seven game winning streak!

Jacob deGrom was having a historic 2021 before he got bit by the injury bug. Over 15 games and 92 innings, deGrom had a 1.08 ERA, 1.24 FIP, 0.554 WHIP and a 377 ERA+. He had a career best 14.3 K/9 rate an absurd 13.27 K/BB rate. For context, his career mark is a 5.10 K/BB. His only game against the Nationals last season was a complete game shutout where he held the Nationals to two hits and nothing else while striking out 15 batters. The Nationals have the following numbers against him:

(Note: This article was written at 8:45 in the morning, some players below may have been traded)

  • Cesar Hernandez 6-26, 4 BB, 7 K
  • Maikel Franco 6-25, 2 2B, 4 K
  • Juan Soto 3-15, 2B, HR, 3 BB, 4 K
  • Victor Robles 3-15, 2 2B, 2 BB, 7 K
  • Joe Ross 0-8, 6 K
  • Josh Bell 0-6, BB, 3 K
  • Nelson Cruz 1-2, K

The Mets will get a look at rookie Cory Abbott tonight, making his first start of the season. Over three games pitched this year, Abbott has pitched four innings allowing a run on two hits while striking out six batters. The 26 year-old righty was drafted by the Cubs in 2017 and made his debut with the Cubs last season. The Giants purchased his contract in April and a couple of weeks later the Nationals got him off waivers.

Overall in AAA between multiple organizations, Abbott pitched 34 1/3 innings over 12 games including eight starts with a 4.98 ERA and 1.544 WHIP. A few Mets have briefly seen him in a major league game:

  • Starling Marte 0-1, BB, K
  • Luis Guillorme 0-1
  • Francisco Lindor 0-1
  • Tyler Naquin 0-0, BB
  • Tomás Nido 0-1

The Mets swept the Marlins over the weekend. The Braves swept the Diamondbacks over the weekend. The trade deadline is tomorrow! And the Mets play baseball tonight!

The Mets are playing the Nationals at a very interesting time – the trade deadline. Last year the Nationals had a sell-off and they looked poised to move additional pieces this year before tomorrow’s deadline. As of writing (8:00 AM this morning), no major moves have happened for DC yet. Josh Bell is most likely to be traded (at one point in time, the Mets were looking at him). Then there is Juan Soto. Will the Nationals be moved by a proposal to trade their star? Will Soto stick around to see what a new ownership group can offer him over the winter? How much time will Bell or Soto see on the field tonight? We will get a front row seat to #HugWatch tonight!

Max Scherzer gets the start at his old ballpark this evening. Over 13 games and 82 innings this year he has a 2.09 ERA, 2.50 FIP, 0.902 WHIP and a 191 ERA+. Since coming off the injured list, Scherzer has pitched 32 1/3 innings over five starts allowing only five runs from 23 hits and four walks (1.39 ERA, 1.79 FIP) while striking out 45 batters.

Scherzer’s season debut this year was against the Nationals in DC where he allowed three runs from three hits and a walk over six innings. The Nationals have the following career numbers against Max:

  • Cesar Hernandez 11-51, 4 2B, 2 BB, 14 K
  • Alcides Escobar 12-43, 2B, 2 HR, 9 K
  • Maikel Franco 4-29, HR, 4 BB, 4 K
  • Nelson Cruz 9-24, 2B, HR, 7 K
  • Josh Bell 4-9, 2 2B, HR, 3 BB, K
  • Juan Soto 0-2, BB

The Mets bats will get a look at Patrick Corbin. Over a 21 starts and 105 1/3 innings, Corbin has a league leading 14 losses (he also led the league with 16 losses last season). He has a 6.49 ERA, 4.62 FIP, 1.766 WHIP and a 60 ERA+. Corbin has allowed a league leading 149 hits and 76 earned runs this season. Over his last three starts he has allowed 17 runs, 16 earned, over 10 2/3 innings from 24 hits and four walks while striking out 15 batters.

Corbin performed well against the Mets in his first two starts against them this season, holding the Mets to two runs over nine innings from eight hits and six walks. In his last start against the Mets he allowed seven runs from 12 hits and two walks. The Mets have the following numbers against him:

  • Pete Alonso 12-33, 2 2B, 4 HR, 8 BB, 11 K
  • J.D. Davis 11-35, 3 2B, 4 HR, 4 BB, 9 K
  • Starling Marte 9-33, 2 2B, HR, 2 BB, 8 K
  • Jeff McNeil 8-25, 2B, 2 BB, 4 K
  • Brandon Nimmo 5-23, 2 BB, 10 K
  • Francisco Lindor 6-23, 2B, 6 K
  • Eduardo Escobar 4-15, 2B, HR, 2 K
  • Mark Canha 4-10, HR, BB, K
  • Daniel Vogelbach 0-2, BB
