Individual Stats I Would Like to See by the End of 2010

I love numbers. Makes sense, I am studying astrophysics at the University of Maryland. There are a few players I would like to see hit a few numbers by the end of the season, just to put a nice end to it, so the numbers look nice, neat, and strong for next season. There really is no point to hitting these numbers expect pride, and looking for something positive in something that gets increasingly negative:

David Wright: 25 Homers
David is sitting at 23 right now. As much as I would love for him to hit 30 this year, he would really need to go on a tear at the end of the season. 2 more to hit 25, that would be nice.

Ike Davis: 20 Homers
As a rookie Ike has been amazing. However if he gets 20, then he will be one those players for the rest of his career that they could say (Ike Davis now with 2919 consecutive seasons with at least 20 homers).

Jose Reyes: 30 Steals
If Jose can steal two more bases, then the Mets will have two base runners with over 30 stolen bases

David Wright: 100 RBI
It's just a nice milestone to reach. He has 8 to go.

Davis/Pagan 30 2B's
If they each hit two more, then the team will have 3 hitters with over 30 doubles.

Pelfrey/Dickey 100 K's
Pelfrey has 94 K's right now, Dickey is sitting at 91. If they can reach the century mark they will join Santana, Takahashi and Niese with over 100 K's

Parnell: 1 Save
Seriously Jerry, let him close.
