The Seattle Mariners made some small changes to their uniforms this season as the celebrate their 35th anniversary in Seattle. Last season, they brought back their teal uniforms as an alternate, which was a welcomed addition as it was an alternate uniform that wasn’t more of the same (like every team wearing black as an alternate).
This season they decided to take it a step farther by adding a teal hat:

This hat is a much needed upgrade to a Seattle Uniform that already looks pretty good. Having a brim match an alternate jersey isn’t always a nice touch, but here it really works as the teal is the focal point of the jersey anyway.
Seattle also decided to go with a nice, simple classic 35th Anniversary patch as well:
